    1. St. John’s Town Center

    Whether you’re looking for a bite to eat or hoping to shop till you drop – the St. John’s Town Center has everything you’ll need. With over 100 stores and a plethora of restaurants to choose from, there is something for everyone here. Around the holiday season you’ll be in awe of the beautiful displays and lights, making your visit to the Town Center a magical one!

     

    2. Jacksonville Jaguars Game at Everbank Field

    The Jacksonville Jaguars are known for their enthusiastic and loyal fanbase. One trip to the newly renovated Everbank field and you’ll be quick to join the pack! Enjoy a Sunday football game or catch a concert at the Daily’s Place Ampitheater outside the stadium, but always remember – Goooo Jaguars!

     

    3. Beach Restaurant and Bars

    What’s the best part about living in Florida? The beaches! The stretch of beaches down the First Coast not only boast warm sand and beautiful horizons – it’s the best place to go for a bite to eat with a cocktail! Jacksonville Beach is home to the local favorite, Hoptinger Bier Garden where you can enjoy live music during Sunday brunch as well as the new and exciting, Surfer the Bar. If you travel up to Neptune Beach, you have to grab a seat oceanside at The Lemon Bar. A few blocks further north, you’ll find plenty of shopping options in the Beaches Town Center.

    5. Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Minor League Game

    Take me out to the ball game! Enjoy an outing with family and friends cheering on the local Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp – formerly known as the Jacksonville Suns. You sure will love taking a photo with Scampi, the mascot, and grabbing 50 cent hot dogs on certain days!

     

    6. Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary

    Lions, tigers, and leopards, oh my! This wildlife sanctuary takes in all types of wild cats for care and rehabilitation. Volunteers at the sanctuary will be more than happy to take you on a guided tour – especially for their night feedings where guests can watch keepers feed the animals!

     

    7. Riverside Arts Market

    Every Saturday, be sure to head down to the Riverside to check out the vendors, ranging from creative artists offering jewelry to bakers selling homemade pastries and much more! Take your time admiring the local fare and be sure to stock up on some produce while you’re there!

     

    8. Times-Union Center for Performing Arts

    Calling all performing arts afficionado’s! Be sure to catch your favorite Broadway when the company is on tour at Jacksonville’s Times-Union Center for Performing Arts is a frequent stop for touring hit shows like The Book of Mormon, The Lion King, as well as the host of many symphonies, comedians, and more!

     

    9. Day Trip to St. Augustine

    Historic St. Augustine is a short 30 minute drive from Jacksonville and perfect for a quick day trip to see the town! From the minute you pass the massive Castillo de San Marcos fortress, you’ll be immersed in the Spanish influence and history of the city. There are plenty of fascinating attractions, beautiful beaches, delicious restaurants, exquisite architecture and more shopping than you could possibly do in one day all nestled in St. Augustine.

    Welcome to your sweet tooth’s dream come true! Located in a renovated candy factory and a quaint old house full of whimsical furniture and trinkets, you could spend the day here just exploring! Not only can you buy all kinds of yummy sweets, you can watch the candy makers create the treats or even take a class to learn how to make the sweet goodies!
